If you suffer from allergies, you have probably tried everything imaginable to relieve your allergy symptoms.  From antihistamines, to decongestants, to all-natural allergy remedies, which provide virtually no relief at all.  Perhaps it is time to consult with an Allergy and Asthma specialist, for allergy extract.  Below is a list of common questions relation to allergy extract, which can help you decide if this may be the best option for you.

What is it? Allergy extract is used in a treatment called immunotherapy and is the most effective treatment in eliminating allergic reactions.

How does it work? An allergist will need to formulate and prescribe an allergy extract for you.  They must mix an extract with all components that cause the allergic reaction, in a strength of dosage that will effectively improve your body’s tolerance to  the allergens.   A dosage too weak, will result in continued symptoms, while a dosage too strong could cause a serious life threatening allergic reaction.

Who Should Use It?  You should consult an allergist if you are not getting any relief from typical allergy treatments.  You may be a candidate for allergy extract if you are suffering from allergies caused by dust, pollen, mold and pet dander.

Where To Get It? Once your allergist formulates the allergy extract, they will book an appointment with you to come in to obtain the inoculation.  Afterwards they will review the symptoms to determine if additional shots are needed and how regularly.
